Heavy Duty [HD300] For high-frequency doors up to 300 lb. / 136 kg. without frame or door reinforcement.
Heavy Duty [HD600] For high-frequency doors up to 600 lb. / 273 kg. Rivnuts are recommended in the frame and/or door when the door exceeds 450 lb. / 182 kg.
Heavy Duty [LL] Our HD600 hinge with additional fastener holes for low- to medium-frequency doors up to 1,000 lb. / 454 kg., including most lead-lined doors. Rivnuts are recommended in the frame and door on extremely tall, extremely heavy or extra-wide doors.
All SELECT brand Pin & Barrel Continuous Hinges (excluding the SL3500) are designed for medium-frequency doors up to 400 lb. / 181 kg or low-frequency doors up to 600 lb. / 272 kg (4 ft. / 1219 mm maximum door width). The SL3500 is designed for 1-3/4" / 45 mm to 2" / 51 mm doors up to 4 ft. wide and weighing up to 900 lb. / 408 kg.
The geared continuous SL60 and SL62 are full surface hinges for high-frequency partition doors 36" / 914 mm wide (max.) weighing up to 80 lb. / 36 kg.
The pin & barrel continuous SL402 and SL902 are full surface hinges for high-frequency partition doors weighing up to 80 lb., consult factory for doors wider than 36".
